‘The Magic Attic’ is a week-long interactive storytelling project, for children aged 4-12, in primary schools, or for special schools. It was devised to develop literacy and oracy skills. Children learn about how stories work, from the inside, about structures, characterization, adventures, setbacks, outcomes and celebrations, by being protagonists in their own story over a week. Creative writing and puppetry are an integral part of the experience.
