Welcome to our site.
Pandora’s Daughter is a puppetry and storytelling company, which has toured in theatres, schools, libraries and art galleries for many years. We spark off innovative and creative projects with children, on themes as diverse as world mythology, human rights, festivals, evolution and the environment.
Poetry, storytelling and puppetry are our media. Through an exciting process of workshops and performances, children learn to use their diverse creative skills in harmony, and develop speaking and listening skills across subject boundaries.
We do:
- Week-long residencies, involving a whole school.
- Day-long projects.
- Puppet performances.
- Storytelling
- Puppet making, with devising and story-building sessions, leading to a performance together at the end.
- Creative writing workshops.
- INSET days for teachers on creative approaches to the curriculum.
- Projects in special schools.
